Cash Bar – Served from the bar. Bar Tab – Served from the bar, or from your table. Flexibility is yours. Guests can charge onto a nominated credit card or place a specified dollar amount against a Bar Tab. Once this amount is reached, your guests can then pay their own way. You can also specify the beverage selection available on your Bar Tab.

Beach Sumner plays an automatic play list mix of Pub / Chart / Lounge Music depending on the time of day. Please consult the Functions Coordinator for any additional music enquiries. We also have LIVE music every Sunday - check our lineup posters for details!

You are very welcome to bring your own cake for special occasions. We will provide you with storage, utensils & plates for you to cut & serve. Our cake service fee of $25 per cake . Please let our team know if you would like to bring a cake.

Open every day 9am till late. Full menu served from 11am, or from 9am for brunch on weekends. Beach Sumner is the perfect place to kick back and relax in Christchurch with a stunning beachfront view and the Southern Alps in the distance.
